Call for Artists:
Southbark Art Jam Mural Project
The Edmonton Mural Festival and Whyte Avenue Art Walk are proud to present the Southbark Art Jam Mural Project, a collaborative public art initiative celebrating creativity, mentorship, and LGBTQ2+ representation in Edmonton.
Painted live during the Whyte Avenue Art Walk, the project will transform the Club 82 building into a vibrant collection of murals created by emerging and established artists while also creating a new cultural landmark in Old Strathcona.
Emerging Voices Mural
A mentorship-focused opportunity for emerging LGBTQ2+ and equity-deserving artists to gain experience creating public art alongside experienced artists and curators.
Established Artists Mural
A collaborative mural featuring experienced artists from the LGBTQ2+ community and the broader arts sector, celebrating artistic excellence while mentoring the next generation of muralists.
