Land Acknowledgement

The Edmonton Mural Festival takes place on Treaty 6 territory and the homeland of the nêhiyaw, Niitsitapi, Dene, Métis, Nakota Sioux, and Inuit peoples. We acknowledge the Northwest Métis Homeland and honour the Indigenous communities who have cared for this land since time immemorial.
